This initiative provides match-funding grants for community benefit or co-operative societies that are undertaking energy efficiency projects in community buildings. Eligible projects can cover installations like solar panels, heat pumps, insulation, LED lighting, and other upgrades aimed at reducing energy costs and emissions. 
 
To be eligible projects must utilise community shares for raising investment and be hosted on the Crowdfunder platform, with funding available for share offers launched by March 2025.

Most grants will range from £10,000 to £30,000, matching 25-33% of the amount raised from your community. Projects from IMD 1-3 areas or led by underrepresented groups may qualify for grants up to £50,000.
